TJG is going to be a proud sponsor of AGA's premier annual training event, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. and virtually. In recognition of America's 250th anniversary, PDT 2026 is being held in the nation's capital and brings together more than 2,000 financial professionals from government, academia, and industry.
Attendees can earn up to 20 CPEs across more than 100 expert-led sessions covering government accountability, efficiency, and innovation in financial management.

The Society of Defense Financial Management's premier regional training event for defense financial managers, formerly known as the Professional Development Institute (PDI). Pre-conference mini-courses were held May 26, followed by two days of Service-specific sessions, breakout sessions, and networking May 27–28.
The 2026 theme, "Mission-Ready FM — Aligning People, Policy, and Technology for Measurable Outcomes," featured targeted sessions on financial leadership, modernization, accountability, and audit readiness, with CPE credits for attendees.

As a state/territory winner, Curtis Joachim, CEO and President of The Joachim Group CPAs & Consultants, LLC is invited to attend the upcoming National Small Business Week Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. on May 3–4, 2026, to be held at the Waldorf Astoria Washington, D.C. At the event, one state winner will be named the 2026 National Small Business Person of the Year.
National Small Business Week (May 3–9, 2026) has been celebrated annually since 1964 with a Presidential proclamation honoring America's small business owners and entrepreneurs.
